Cleaning Up Corruption

Washington is broken. Too many politicians go there to get rich and cling to power, not to serve the people who sent them. Josh is fighting to clean up corruption and make government work for everyday Americans—not the career politicians or the special interests lining their pockets.

Special interests spend millions to influence elections and buy members of Congress, who go to Washington and vote for their priorities, not ours. It’s corrupt as hell. Josh’s Ban Corporate PACs Act would get corporate dark money out of politics and put the people back in charge. And he’s pushing to overturn the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision and get dark money out of our politics for good.

Too many politicians use their office to enrich themselves by trading stocks based on insider information. Josh’s Restore Trust in Congress Act would ban members of Congress and their spouses and children from trading individual stocks, and require them to divest or place assets in a blind trust. It’s a commonsense step to make sure no one is abusing their elected position for profit.

We need new voices and fresh ideas in our politics because the status quo just isn’t working. Josh is leading the effort to implement term limits—three terms in the House, two in the Senate, and that’s it.
